The single-cycle Master's Degree in Law aims to provide a solid legal preparation that allows graduates to: - acquire the disciplinary knowledge and methodological tools necessary to frame, address and resolve legal issues that arise in today's society; - acquire historical-legal and philosophical-legal knowledge, which allow an adequate contextualization of legal phenomena; - acquire comparative and methodological knowledge that allows understanding and evaluating the institutions of positive law; - research, interpret, analyze and apply in concrete cases normative and jurisprudential texts at national, European and international level; - draft clear, pertinent and well-motivated legal texts (normative and/or negotiation and/or procedural and/or administrative); - understand and govern the strong transformations that characterize contemporary legal experience; - apply one's skills and knowledge to innovative issues in interdisciplinary fields; - argue, orally and in writing, in a logical, rigorous and effective manner, with specialist and non-specialist interlocutors; - autonomously update and enrich their knowledge and skills in order to counteract their obsolescence; - acquire the ability to use the English language fluently, in written and oral form, also with reference to disciplinary lexicons.
The course aims to provide students with advanced training in the field of law, aimed at carrying out highly qualified activities in a variety of professional contexts.
Graduates will obtain a preparation that will allow, also through post-graduate specialization courses aimed at introducing them to the legal professions, to move towards the professions of Notary and Lawyer and a career in the Judiciary. They will also acquire the skills and aptitudes to be able to hold high-profile positions in Public Administrations, International Organizations and public and private companies.
Paths of Excellence
Students enrolled in the Single-Cycle Master's Degree in Law have the opportunity to attend dedicated courses in order to improve their preparation in some specific sectors.
Attendance at the course includes the introduction of some preparatory exams in the study plan, in the space reserved for optional subjects and elective subjects, from the 2nd to the 5th year; and participation, in the 5th year, in the legal clinic and the dedicated internship.
Attendance at the course will be certified with a certificate included in the Diploma Supplement.
